Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Location: Paramus, New Jersey

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM | 5 × 8-hour shifts

Pay Rate: $21/hr (Blended)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to perform a combination of administrative and clinical duties in a healthcare setting. This role involves supporting patient care, maintaining accurate records, and assisting providers with various medical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations.

• Record patient history, vital signs, and other information.

• Assist healthcare providers during procedures and examinations.

• Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician.

• Manage patient records and update documentation in the medical system.

• Schedule appointments, manage correspondence, and perform other administrative duties as needed.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• AHA BLS Certification (American Heart Association Basic Life Support).

• One of the following active certifications:

  • CMA – NHA (National Healthcareer Association)

  • CMA – NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing)

  • CMA – AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants)

  • RMA – AMT (American Medical Technologists)

  • RMA – NAHP (National Association for Health Professionals)

  • AMCA (American Medical Certification Association)

  • NCMA (National Certification Medical Association)
