Labor & Employment Associate Attorney - 3+ Years Experience

A nationally recognized firm with a long-standing reputation for litigation excellence is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience in employment-related litigation to join its growing Labor & Employment Practice Group in St. Louis .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day litigation tasks and contribute to strategic case development
• Handle matters from intake through discovery, trial preparation, and resolution
• Participate in depositions, settlement conferences, and court appearances
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and client advisories
• Prepare and advise on employment and separation agreements
• Provide compliance-related guidance to employers
  
  

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 3+ years of experience in labor and employment law, including litigation
• Licensed to practice law in Missouri
• Experience with pleadings, motion practice, legal research, and trial prep
• Skilled in conducting witness interviews and navigating agency matters
• Experience taking/defending depositions is preferred but not required
• Strong oral and written communication skills required
