Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain new client relationships through outreach, cold calling, and identifying customer needs.
Research leads and build a comprehensive portfolio of clients.
Communicate effectively with customers and other internal teams to ensure satisfaction and service quality.
Drive new business by prospecting, sourcing, and managing accounts.
Work closely with carrier management and operations teams to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness for clients.
Provide creative solutions to generate new business opportunities.
Handle additional tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing logistics sales role.
Proven experience in the transportation and logistics industry.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
Existing portfolio of business contacts is a plus.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to make cold calls.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
Familiarity with office software and the ability to navigate various systems.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on identifying and resolving issues.
Self-motivated and driven with a customer-focused attitude.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
The role is remote but operates within an office-like environment using computers, telephones, and other necessary equipment.
Regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
Comfortable working in front of a computer for long periods.
Strong communication skills via phone and email.
