About the Role

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll assist customers via phone, email, and chat. Your role will be to answer questions about tax services, troubleshoot issues, and provide friendly, efficient support. If you enjoy solving problems and delivering exceptional service, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide courteous and efficient customer support via inbound phone calls during the busy tax season.

Answer questions regarding tax filing, products, services, and account information.

Assist customers in troubleshooting issues related to tax filings or software.

Document and track customer interactions in our support system.

Meet performance targets related to customer satisfaction, response time, and first-call resolution.

Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even during peak periods.

Qualifications:

Reliability is key - You must be dependable, especially during high-demand periods leading up to and after Tax Day.

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Ability to stay calm and patient when assisting customers who may be experiencing stress.

Previous customer service experience is a plus but not required.

Must be able to commit to working peak tax season hours (February through April).
