We're seeking a talented Customer Experience Representative to deliver outstanding support to our agents, insureds, and partners. You'll play a vital role in handling billing inquiries, processing payments, and providing valuable assistance to our underwriting department.
What You'll Be Doing:
Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide top-notch customer support via phone and email, addressing a wide range of inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
Handle Financial Transactions: Process payments, waive fees, and manage payment transfers accurately and efficiently.
Assist Agents and Customers: Help agents navigate payment issues and system challenges, and provide clear answers to customer questions.
Support Underwriting: Review policy endorsements, gather necessary information, and respond to general underwriting inquiries.
Generate and Utilize Reports: Create and utilize system-generated reports to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Manage Documentation: Prepare reports, letters, and accounting forms using Microsoft Word, Document Manager, and Excel.
Maintain Accurate Records: Process financial data within accounting software and organize files as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Associate's Degree plus one or more years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
Basic bookkeeping and/or accounting knowledge (completed courses preferred).
Strong math skills.
Previous insurance industry experience (helpful).
Customer service orientation and prior telephone customer service experience.
Familiarity with computerized accounting systems and various software.
Proficient typing/data entry and general clerical skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Excellent PC application skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
